Replacement lighting to save energy

Lighting uses 20 per cent of the electricity generated in the UK and over 75 per cent of lighting installations are thought to be out of date and unable to meet current design standards. With the potential to save 25_50 per cent of lighting energy through replacement, this is an important area to ‘get it right’. ‘Getting it wrong’ can result in lighting being un_it for purpose, with inadequate light levels, glare, headaches and serious health and safety risks.
